Job Description

The Brazer assembles and joins metal components using controlled heating processes, filler materials, and precision techniques to create strong, leak-proof, and durable joints. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to interpret technical drawings, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

• Prepare metal components for brazing operations.
• Perform brazing operations using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Inspect joints for quality assurance.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.

• Proficiency in assembly, brazing, and soldering.
• Ability to frequently lift 50 to 75 pounds.
• Experience in brazing, welding, or metal fabrication preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Understanding of safety procedures related to heat and metalwork.

• 3+ years of brazing experience required.
• Prior knowledge and experience joining copper piping using brazing techniques.
• Ability to perform leak checks on refrigerant circuits, including pressure testing and system evacuation.
• Experience in general mechanical assembly work.
• Ability to use tools such as torches, induction heaters, and furnaces to heat metal parts to brazing temperature.
• Proficiency with interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders.

The work schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts from Monday to Thursday, 6:00 am to 4:00 pm, in an indoor facility with a warm environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $45.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
