The Brazer will support the fabrication and assembly of HVAC, electrical and mechanical subsystems for rail transit and freight applications. Will join components using torch or induction brazing techniques on copper, brass, steel, and other alloys, working from blueprints, work instructions and applicable industry specifications to produce components that meet strict quality and safety standards for the rail industry. Perform brazing to join copper, brass, steel, and other metal components per engineering drawings and work instructions. Read and interpret blueprints, routers, and specification sheets. Maintain compliance with applicable AWS brazing specifications and company/AAR quality procedures. Experience in the rail transit industry is a plus Shift is four ten hour days 6am to 4:30 pm Monday through Thursday $17 to $20 per hour. HS or GED.
