IT Support Specialist with 1 to 3 years of experience managing day-to-day user, hardware, software, and network support for an organization. Salary dependent on abilities. Range listed but not fixed.
Job Overview
1. Role: Mid-level IT Support / Systems Technician
2. Experience Required: 1–3 years in IT support, help desk, or technical troubleshooting
3. Education: Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or
equivalent hands-on experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Support: Resolve incoming employee for desktop software, hardware, laptops
(Mac and PC), and mobile devices.
2. System Administration: Install, configure, and update operating systems (Windows, linux
and macOS) and business applications.
3. Network Maintenance: Troubleshoot basic LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and printer connectivity issues.

5. Documentation: Track IT requests, document solutions, and escalate complex networ or
security problems to senior staff.
Required Skills and Qualifications
1. Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Windows, Linux, macOS, Active Directory, and basic
networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
2. Certifications: Preferred credentials include CompTIA A+ or Network+, but not required.
3. Soft Skills: Strong customer service, patience, and clear communication for helping
non-technical staff, motivated, self starter, good work ethics.
4. Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose root causes quickly and prioritize multiple support
tasks under deadlines.
