Responsibilities:

The pharmacy technician, under the supervision of a pharmacist, will assist in the technical, non-clinical aspects of preparing medications for dispensing and assist in pharmacy operations.
Has the ability to participate as a member of a team with reliability and punctuality.
Does related work, as required.
Maintains competency in the compounding of sterile IV medications.

Qualifications:

Job Requrements:

High School graduate or GED .
Active Registered Pharmacy Technician in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy.
Good organizational skills and strong attention to d etail.

Preferred Job Requrements:

2+ year’s previous hospital pharmacy technician experience (inclusive of training programs).
Completion of sterile compounding training/competency (as required by State BOP).
National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT).
