Project Accountant
Alpharetta, GA

Build expertise across project accounting, tax compliance, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities

Key Responsibilities for the Project Accountant:

Create sales agreements, establish projects and budgets in Business Central/NAV, and maintain project accounting records
Prepare project billings, including AIA and LBM invoices, and support ongoing billing administration
Administer state income tax correspondence and assist with monthly sales and use tax reporting and payments
Apply cash receipts, maintain supporting documentation, and assist with collections on past-due accounts
Perform select monthly general ledger account reconciliations and support month-end accounting activities

Qualifications for the Project Accountant:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Microsoft Business Central required
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Background in project accounting, billing, accounts receivable, or general accounting
